Internship Day 4

Not much to say other than having to cut a lot of paper, with cutters that were hard to open and close. That really left my hand in pain, if only I was able to use my left hand to cut my right hand wouldn’t be in so much pain. Oh today I spoke with two of the designer, just regular chat. In one of the conversions he asked what I like to do in graphic design. I guess I was all over the place and didn’t get my message across. Because I said I like to do everything, and I get bored easily. He told me to just chose one, and I could always switch. After over chat I realized I didn’t say what I really meant. I like creating stories. Storytelling is my passion and I love telling stories in different formats. But oh well, can’t do anything now. The second person I chat with was just something short, and it ended with me showing some of my current illustrations.
Then I finally got my head back together and realized how silly I am for getting off track. I should be doing projects that is more about me and my style, and also that works with my skill level. How I should stop trying to impress other people by making work just to show them what I’m capable of. So the whole clothes, character, project is off. If I do a character project it’ll be because I want to do it for me.
Wish me luck.
