Trying to learn CorelDraw since currently no longer have my Adobe. Might have to see if using Inkscape gives me better results in performance. If not I’m going to have to see how I can afford Adobe since I no longer qualify for a free trial under my account.

Also I started to see what color scheme I wanted to try for the logo of this project. Along with trying to figure out fonts. Depending how the long design goes it will determine how the rest of the project will be designed.

Even though it seems I’m going simply with the logo, that wasn’t the end goal. Which I’m wondering if my limitations are due to a new software layout I’m not familiar with. Especially since I can easily work in Adobe products without issue and just focus on designing. But with CorelDraw I’m not only trying to design, I’m also learning a new product.

That’s the one thing I like and dislike about Adobe. I’m confident in using it and can easily just focus on designing without trying to figure out the features. But the price is way out of my typical budget, along with some of their practices are horrible. Yet it’s hard when something works but the company is ass.
