What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain.

Are you sure you’re trans or did social media influence you?

I hate this question not because it’s unreasonable, but because it can be annoying to answer. Especially depending on who’s asking.

If a therapist or doctor is asking, it’s easier to express that social media didn’t influence me. And then give solid evidence that social media only helped me find the right words to explain my emotions and experiences.

Now if someone who’s just trying to argue with me to make it seem that my existence isn’t real, then it gets irritating.
