I still can’t believe mom told me to check out the storage rooms down in the basement floors of the compound. How could she do that to me after I told her what dad did? Yet here I was marching my way to the staircase leading to the basement floors. At that, I don’t get why mom said I couldn’t use the elevators. As I did so I was getting annoyed by how much dust and spiderweb there was. It didn’t help my mood when stepping into what seems to be the largest section of the compound. And here I thought the way to the attic was large.
I passed large inventory rooms filled with metal and wires. Some even have endless rows of tools as far as the eye can see. And here I thought dad only kept his tools in his labs and corporate office. Guess that old man has enough tools to fill a whole factory, and I didn’t know about it. After what felt like forever, I finally found a room that had stuff just like the attic, but not as organized.
While I was digging through a chest that was filled with clothes, I eventually came across a small orange ball. It had 2 red stars on it. “Weird.” I set it to the side and continued looking through the chest. Apparently, that was the only interesting thing that was in the chest.
I then went over to a second chest, but I would occasionally look back at the orange ball. What’s something so shiny doing in a place like this? Either way there was nothing else in the second chest. But in the 3rd chest I found a scroll talking about how the first king of earth came to be by wish on something called a Dragon Ball. I looked back at the ball before continuing reading the scroll.
The more I read the more I couldn’t believe it. How could a ball do so many wonderful things. That’s when I found out that a person needs to collect all 7, then say some words to summon a dragon, who will grant the person one wish. Then the balls scatter and become useless for one year.
Gosh one whole wish for anyone who collects all 7 balls. I couldn’t believe it! And based on how this isn’t common knowledge that means I’m one of the few people who knows about this. I could already imagine having an endless supply of the ripest strawberries being my wish. But how does one find these dragon balls? The scroll didn’t say. Well, looks like I’m going to have to find a way! With that said, I grabbed the ball and scroll and started walking out of the room I found these in.
As I walked back towards the staircase to return upstairs, I went into the many inventory rooms and grabbed a few supplies. From a full toolbox, a few metal scraps, and some wires. I could always come back if I needed something else. Speaking of which, I might sneak into my big sister’s room to “borrow” a few things. Not like she’ll notice since she’s been gone for a few years now.
