My first memory
the one that woke me
into this world
was the one
that shock
my soul
into reality
before I was just
gliding through
life
but once this
memory had started
it changed my
reality forever

I was surrounded
by dark and dead
trees that
raise to the sky
where I was walking
the roots
came out
the ground and
the ground felt
so cold
and I kept
snicking and tripping
over the roots

as I continue
walking through
the trees
a chill goes
up my back
and I could
hear the wind
blow into my ear
it carried
a strange nose
I stopped and
tried to listen

only to be met
with a deep
harsh voice
whispering that
it found me
I turn around
quickly only to
find that nothing
was there

still feeling
the cold chill
on my back
I start to walk
faster through
the trees
hoping I would
find a way
out of this place

every now and then
I would fall
and with every fall
I was given
another cut
and blood dripping
from my arms
and legs

just then
I heard it again
this time
it was closer
and what it said
made me run
for dear life

“Time for
you to die,
No one is
going to
SAVE YOU”

I started
to dash
and hoping
the way out
was close at hand
but with every
turn and jump
and trip
I was left
in an endless
circle through
this forest

with every step
I could feel
the air getting
colder
and there would be
breathing behind me
getting closer

I keep trying
to run away
but when I fall
again
I am met with
claw like blades
running down
my back
I try to get
back up
only to be pin
to the ground
as the shadow
of a person
raises his arm
ready to come down on me
I start to
scream for my mother
only to be
going in between
the forest
and a laying down
in a bed
I continue to
scream
then I finally wake
meeting with
both my parents
my father angry
and mother looking
worried
and I’m there
scared out my life
