What can I say about being inspirited again? A lot. But let me express one joy that has me starting anew.
So many ideas and theories’ about my favorite anime. That I even started writing a fanfic base on it. It was fun getting my ideas down and sharing. It also made me question more about the characters. And so I gave them more stories of the unseen. As I did this I also had to do a lot of research to make my fanfic more believable. In doing so, it helps me be a better writer
For starter, I learn more in-depth about certain topics. Like: human reproduction, joys of fatherhood, and random facts. Second, I went into the psychology of these characters. I wanted to express what makes them behave and feel a certain way.
My fanfic is about the Son family, from the anime Dragon Ball Z. It always drove me insane how these characters behave. Like how cheerful and happy Goku seems to be, a majority of the time. How it just seems that youngest, Goten, was practically pushed to the side, and there wasn’t enough content on him. Also, how Chichi seems so off-putting. I also wanted answers. The more I go in-depth with my fanfic the more I grow with these characters.
The more I write, the better I became as a writer. To the point, I plan to restart my Red Dragon project. As I go along, I would share what I learn. Like: wordplay, facts, and even my own emotions. What I find interesting is that the more I wrote the more I feel. And when I feel, I make a better narrative.
