But without a word or warning, I felt something warm and soft pressed to my lips. It took me a moment to realize that she was… kissing me? But before I could fully process such an event, it was all over too soon. Now, she stands before me with a soft smile. “There is no need to apologize, for you had done nothing wrong. If anything,” She pressed her lips to mine once more. “I am the one to blame. I have let myself be seen when I am forbidden. I am the one who should be punished.”
