As I’m working on book I keep thinking about my grocery list for this month. So far I’ve noticed I eat a lot of frozen veggies compared to fresh. Same goes for fruits. After a certain point I get sick of eating them. Like basically having to eat them before they go bad.

But because my surgery is literally the second to last week of the month, I’m trying to figure out what I can do to be able to not worry about having so much in my fridge that I can’t go through quick enough.

So, gonna try to stick to dry fruits. Which would add something different to my oatmeal. Because damn! I can’t just eat oatmeal without something in it like raisins. I’m going to get blueberries to mix it up.

Now when it comes to vegetables, I was thinking just getting peas. Since those are easy to meal prep and easy to eat without much thought. I’m also thinking about getting my protein shakes again.

It’s one of those things to help me through the “I’m too weak to eat” phase I know I’m going to go through. I’m definitely going to need one hell of a lifeline. Hence, I’m hoping that I can find my favorite vanilla protein milkshakes. If not I’m going to suffer and get a substitution.

I’m also thinking about getting double the eggs I typically get every month, with how I want to get as much as I can before my ability to walk is hindered. So much thought is going into this. At least, I don’t have to think about bread or potatoes.

Might see if I could get myself some type of treat that use as a last resort. Maybe something like strawberries or cherries. I just know it’s going to be frozen fruits. Which reminds me that I’m almost out of mangos.

I don’t think I’m getting milk this month. Like regular milk. This month I’m not going to put much effort into liquid dairy since I’m going to get my protein shakes. Along with cheese.

Perhaps I’m over thinking it. But I kinda wanna do some wraps this month. Like tuna wraps or chicken. Even get a few sauces to enjoy before the time comes that I need to cut back. At least enough until I have the energy to cook longer than 20 minutes.

Either way. So much to think about and plan. But still so much unknown and excitement.
