What could you do differently?

In what sense? Because I’m doing all I can to change things to make my life better.

But if I were to able to change the past to make things different, I would have learned to budget and get my license while I was still in my first paying job.

Oh well. Gotta deal with the consequences of my actions and try to fix my mistakes now instead of never.

  1. You can do it!!!! I made horrible financial decisions, spent money I didn’t have, ect…. I am assuming you are still quite young so you’ve got time to turn things around. In the past ten years we have gotten ourselves out of the hole we dug, but we are not young people anymore, so we don’t have time to accumulate a retirement fund. My children will get something though because my parents and my uncle named us in their wills. For that, I am very thankful. I am so glad my daughter is nothing like the way I was, with her money. She is very frugal and responsible. Thinking about how much I could have saved when I was young hurts a lot. Especially when I was a teenager and young adult, living at home rent free and working. I couldn’t hang onto a dime, even then.
