What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?

What’s considered a long life? Just living to see the next day to me is living a long life because not many reach my age or older.

Which makes me grateful and I want to fill everyday I’m consciously living with something worthwhile. And for me, something that is worthwhile is enjoying everything that this life has to offer.

From the ability to see, and in color and depths at that. The ability to hear. The ability to experience all my senses. The ability to still be mobile and have all my limbs.

I appreciate everything because one day it can be taken away. So I don’t want to live in a state of ignorance to where I regret everything.

If one day I don’t wake up then I lived a long life and I don’t want to leave with any regrets. Or having the thoughts of wishing I had more time.

Especially when I have been given the gift of waking up and making it to the next day. The gift to reach an age not many reach. So I’m already living a long life, and anything more is a bonus.
