Grammarly

I got Grammarly to help with my writing and grammar, which I have issues with. But I have noticed when I read over the edit version that the flow I wanted is pretty much gone. Like, it either feels too modern or that I’m writing a business letter.

There’s nothing wrong with it. Since it helps me catch spelling mistakes and add words that would be better than what I initially used. But my writing style suffers a bit from this prosses.

Yet, when I was editing my first book, without Grammarly, I found it fun to look over my work. It not only helps me spot mistakes but also got me adding more to the story. So, I’ll still use Grammarly to edit my work, just that I’ll take a fourth look before posting it and saying that I’m finished.

Now for a little treat. This is part of my second book, which is still in progress.

“Yes,” We continued to clash blades as I spoke with him. “You said how all Damon knows is you. Even he said the type of training he did under you and Emma. Also mentioning what Emma knew. But neither he or Emma understood how you were able to do so much more. Emma mentioned how she found it strange that for a human, you were so powerful. Could you explain that to me.”
