Who was your most influential teacher? Why?
I’ve mentioned before but I can’t pinpoint any specific teacher who wasn’t a huge influence in my life. I had teachers of all backgrounds that made a huge impact on me.
From my colorblind art teacher, to my literature teacher who showed me the power of poetry. To my science teacher who encourages my love for learning. My kindergartners teachers who actually said my name properly and didn’t make me feel isolated. The many teachers who influenced my love for learning and exploring different ways of thinking. My Spanish teachers who treated the Spanish speaking students according, like challenging us instead of teaching us something we already knew. The many college teachers who pushed me past what I thought I could accomplish.
It doesn’t matter in what stage of learning I was in, there was always one or two teachers that influenced me one way or another.
