Have you ever forgot you were eating and stopped, then have a mini panic attack when you realize you were eating so you try to finish? Or have you tried eating your food as fast as possible so you can get over the fact you have to eat?
Like it’s weird. On a good day I can easily be present while eating that I would enjoy my food enough to savor it. But sometimes I forget I’m eating halfway, and when I remember I panic and try to finish. There’s also days where I can’t stand the sight or smell of food that I try to eat as quickly as possible to get over the experience. Even though that one leaves me feeling nauseous and wanting to throw up.
My worse days I’m lucky to even tolerate food long enough to see and cook.
