Just had a realization.

The people who told me my whole life on how I should spend my money are the very ones who has money issues. From debt to budgeting. And are extreme shopaholics. Like they rather buy high end items at expensive prices.

Yet I was shamed for spending my own money on things to survive both physically and mentally. Like food, art supplies, and games. We don’t share same values. And whenever it came down to clothes and appearance they practically bullied me to the point I breakdown just trying to buy a simple shirt.

I don’t value my appearance like them. I value things that faster creativity and community.
But yeah. My personal finance might be borderline low, but I’m not constantly saying how I’m paying off the same 3 credit card debt. So I guess I’m lucky in that regards.
