Today I’m sore from the 2 day straight of intensive exercises. It’s to the point it painful to move my legs. But I still pushed through this morning to get my 5k walk in.
For exercise today was just the walking. I used my “workout” time to do 10 minute “Yoga for mobility and flexibility” (that’s what it’s called on DailyBurn). I definitely needed that break from intensity while also keeping me moving.
I have tried a few of these poses before, especially in physical therapy, but to add a few others was interesting. Definitely helped me feel a few joints and muscles I haven’t felt in a long time.
So glad I broke up my workout routine like this. Yoga for in between intense workouts really helps the body heal.
The only down side of today was how I only had 1 egg and a cup of tea for breakfast. Currently trying to eat food, because I’m not feeling the effects of my lack of appetite this morning. But I’m trying not to rush or binge.
I will say I’m proud that I drank 28 oz of water and currently on round 2 of 28 oz of water. But I need to recover so I have the energy for two days of intense exercise again.
